Social Assistance

Under the responsibility of Social Worker Beth, this work is extremely important since it also deals with emotional and personal aspects of the girls and youngsters. Beth and her two assistants provide the individual assistance (personal and individual chats) with the girls, as well as group assistance (chats in group sessions). Reports are made for the following public entities : Youth Judge, Tutelar Counsel, Promotor and internal reports for our Orphanage.

Beth is also responsible for all documentation (ID cards) for the girls and she also does the visits to the homes of the girl's families or parents, when a family or parent exists. Such visits also include couseling and social assistance. Finally, she also forwards to the public entities all of the required documentation and registrations.

 

Legal Assistance

Under the responsibility of Lawyer Fátima Luisa, all legal issues are also important for our Orphanage. Luisa advises our Orphanage in all legal matters, with respect to all public entities (Youth Judge, Tutelar Counsel, Promotor, others) and with respect to companies or other entities as well. In the cases of adoption, Luisa is extremely important in preparing all of the child's documentation.
