At our Orphanage, there are girls and youngsters that live under the internate system (those that do not have any form of family) and those under the externate system (those that have some form of family but which do not have the conditions to keep the child during the entire day).

Therefore, one can see that these families also maku-up an important part of the "social network" of our Orphanage. These families live in the poor communities close to our Orphanage. These "communities" are Chacrinha, Bateaux Mouche, Chácara, Mato Alto.

It is important, therefore, that we seek to help these families as well ! This way, we will be indirectly helping our Orphanage and the girls and youngsters that live there.
